In Pre-k we........
- celebrated Tabi Cat, our Friend of the Week!
- introduced little Lego's to the table toys and built new structures.
- added more dress-ups to the house area. There are doctors' tools and uniforms, purses, high heels, jewelry and babies! Tabi is an elegant and busy doctor.
- started celebrating Chinese New Year, the year of the dragon. Stay tuned for news of our upcoming Chinese New Year parade.
- started practicing saying good-bye at the door. Some Unicorns spontaneously wanted to try saying good-bye at the door early. It was empowering and positive. All Unicorns will start saying good-bye at the door on Monday.
- listened to one of Lucas' favorite books, When a Dragon Moves In , thanks for reading to the Unicorns, Gary!
- sang "Skidamarink" and "In the Streets of Chinatown" and our poem is "Pussycat, Pussycat"
- added two new book baskets, "Pets" and "Clifford". We narrowed our animal study to "Pets". The Unicorns voted between Pets and Dinosaurs. The vote was Pets 13 and Dinosaurs 4. We'll study dinosaurs after our pet study!
